Yes, they should be to teach. My husband is a professor of special education, which has visible tattoos on his arm. One of them is a medical symbol, because he is diabetic, the other is a bonsai tree, the other a pencil average (which is my husband, who should know!). It has have received much praise and congratulations for his teaching, and tattoos have help no negative impact on their ability to shape today's youth. Note, however, appeared his tattoos visible when it was founded in his work, what makes the difference, I think.

Now ask you about his attitude, which has an entirely different meaning. In the first interview, when someone full of tattoos, and these tattoos are seen in the interview, which really makes a negative impression. Furthermore, are not specific about the placement, the differences are too great. If someone has several tattoos on his arms, and during the interview recorded if they keep their jobs, they better be prepared to work step by step, and an incredible teacher. If nOT, have long sleeves available. The school is my husband in downtown Cleveland, and tattoos are not uncommon in the region, so that children will not think twice.

If you are in suburban areas, I think it make a big difference. The composition of the clientele is different, and parents can not be accepted as well. Well, I do not agree with, is the individual schools you can make your own dress policy on tattoos, so that if my husband ever wanted to transfer, it can be some problems in the most conservative regions. I think there should be a mandate district, not a school policy.

I believe that teachers are recruited on the basis of their mandates, not on the appearance and personal opinions.

I find it strange that we teach in the school, not chew, but a tattoo is very difficult for a gay person or the person to obtain employment. And if such an order to hide their students.

Schools need to lead by example. And the children need to learn that it is normal to express what they are.

Why not be hired. They have all something to pass on to future children. This does not apply all that training just have to go to waste. Just because you have lots of tattoos and piercings do not make them bad people. I think people are also in the tests, when it comes to this subject. If he does not stop someone based on the grounds of what is going on elsewhere.
